Griz Days Schedule
Through this opportunity organizations and businesses are invited to “jail” and have one their employees/members to be one of Griz Most Wanted. The organization, with promotional and logistical support from the Griz Days Committee, will then raise money to pay “the bail” through various fundraising activities – the funds raised will be donated to a local non-profit organization of their choice.

Hosted by the Fernie Fire Department, the Junior Griz Contest challenges participants with fun, age-appropriate tasks inspired by the legendary mountain man himself! If your little one is wanting to be and an Extreme Griz one day, please have their minor waiver completed before entering the Junior Griz Competition.

This year’s Griz Days will feature the Griz Kids Headquarters at the Fernie Family Center. Scheduled for Saturday, March 1, from 2-5pm, this indoor area, in partnership with the Kindergym organization, provides families with young children a cozy spot to warm up, dry off, and play. It also offers a safe environment for breastfeeding, diaper changes, and a break amidst the day's excitement. Entry is by donation, with all proceeds going to the Kindergym non-profit to support its community activities.
